So this is the “About” page I update yearly.

If this is the first time you are reading, Hi!! Welcome to my humble wordpress!

If it ain’t your first time, it’s either you are a friend, How are you doing?! Hope all’s well! / foe (I’m just kidding), The more you dislike me, the more you want to know how I’m doing, funny!

Or you are a complete stranger who bumped by and decides to still come back sometime to read my boring entries. I’ll still welcome you and Thank you.

I never disclose my wordpress address openly online, except for friends who link me to their pages or WordPress.com has a section which released its members’ latest entry and at that moment it happened to be mine, that sort of thing. Otherwise, jinnykay.wordpress.com is almost impossible to be located, unless you even know it existed, duh.

A very long time ago, I once complained about an ex-colleague about things she did at work, on my then blog I had. Then very unfortunately, she stumbled upon it 6 months later. I was embarrassed but she was worse off. Thankfully, being the much older her, she was able to get us out of that awful situtation and we became rather good working colleagues after that. It was a good thing because the incident stopped her bad habits but still I told myself never ever am I going to let that kind of thing happen again.

Do I conceal certain things when I blog?

Of course I do. Tell me who won’t? You don’t? Even by minimizing the chances of your blogs being found, there is still a 1% possibility that people you won’t want them to read will still stumble onto your site one day. That’s what the password protected entries are for!

Then what’s the purpose then, you may ask. To me, this still acts as a channel between me and some of my friends who pop by once in a while and vice versa to see how we are doing. Sometimes you do get helfpul informative stuffs from other’s blogs too!

Then do I have a secret blog?

No because I don’t even have enough time to frequently update this one!

Am I really who I am in my entries?

I don’t see the need in mimicking anyone, so what I penned down are genuinely mine, my own thoughts, all rights reserved. Say I don’t blog about Tiger Woods because I’m not interested in his news. If you tell me you know what kind of person I am just through my wordpress, save that. In real life, I also dislike people telling me they understand me more than I understand myself. What absolute rubbish and a huge turn-off.

What am I really like, offline?

I’m generally a very very lazy person. I’m still very much a mummy’s girl who’s not let away to go without breakfasts every single morning, and must be home as early as possible. (exceptional for occassional friends’ gatherings, functions etc.) This gradually makes me not liking to stay out late.

I’m a faithful friend who is willing to go the distance. I DON’T make use of friendships.

Comes to love, I’m the dominant one in a good way. I have my temper but you can’t be wanting your SO to do things to return your favours you do to him /her. You do it because you want to do it unconditionally.

How has 2009 been??

It’s been 3 days into the new year and I still can’t believe another year has gone by! 2009 has been wonderful for me and indeed the lucky no. 9 never fails me. =)

A couple of my goals were accomplished in 2009, not that they were at all great but to me, they are still accomplishments. What makes me the happiest was the greatest goal I set myself to complete by year end, I did it on the last day of September. (lucky 9 again!) I’m going to keep that underwraps for now until when I’m ready to reveal.

La Vie en Rose? Act french atas or what?

La Vie en Rose can be simply be translated as life in pink, rosy or life in shades of pink. That’s what I want to live my life to be.

My life may not be as rosy to others but if it’s within my definition of rosy, my life is still rosy! How rosily pink is your life is determined by yourself, not by others.

God’s gifts to me are the greatest yet and that includes my beloved family and my friends.
